The Corundum Group – Wealth Associate


The Wealth Associate is responsible for supporting a team of Wealth Advisors in the delivery of The Corundum Group and Central Bancorp capabilities to high net worth individuals and families.  This is inclusive of portfolio management, trust and estate planning, retirement planning, insurance, mortgage, and personal lines of credit.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Advocates for clients with internal/external partners to achieve exceptional service across all needs related to the management of their relationship.
  • Provide Advisors support across client/prospect meeting preparation, financial plan creation, custodial process initiation and management, and client bank instruction verification.
  • Develops, organizes, promotes and sets up seminars for clients and prospects.
  • Help identify opportunities for Advisors to partner with line of business partners.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for process improvement that improves upon the customer experience.

The Associate will receive additional training that will enable them to build a foundation of knowledge and develop skills needed to achieve client service excellence and fuel success as a financial professional. Content will include:

  • Advanced training on trusts & estates, wealth planning analytics, investment management philosophies, and financial management strategies utilizing Certified Trust Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planning certification programs.
  • A focus on client service excellence in partnership with Advisors and Leadership.
  • Career management and one-on-one coaching to achieve success beyond the Associate role.
