With the opening of Banning Lewis Preparatory Academy (BLPA) in fall 2017, the school is expanding to meet K through 12th grade education demand in Falcon District 49, which includes the Banning Lewis Ranch community.
The academy will offer a rigorous, college prep, high school experience that is consistent with the existing, top-rated K-8 program the school has become know for in Colorado Springs. The current Banning Lewis Ranch Academy campus location will continue to house elementary grades with the preparatory academy offer a high school program to include extensive advanced placement course offerings, daily use of technology, athletics, and more.
In 2016, the academy became a Central Bancorp client through our insurance and banking divisions. Here is what they have to say about their client experience so far:
“Banning Lewis Academy entered into a business relationship with CB Insurance because of our level of confidence their staff brought to our administration and board. As a growing charter school, our insurance policy needs were extensive, and we wanted the best group that would be able to ensure that Banning Lewis Academy was covered appropriately…
…The support has been outstanding as a new policyholder. We have direct access to get explanations of our policy features and options. And, not long after switching to CB Insurance, our academy had to make a substantial claim. The CB Insurance staff worked swiftly to ensure a smooth claim filing…
…We also have begun a business relationship with Central Bank & Trust because they share our values of supporting the Colorado Springs community. They’ve made our account a priority, and they remain supportive and flexible to our needs.”
